Medicare Quality Payment Program - Role of Medical Biller

by Aida

My question is about the role of the medical biller in this program, and anything that can be shared regarding this program.

For our visitors The Quality Payment Program is a Medicare modernization initiative that encourages providers to adopt technology to improve patient care.

There is up to a 5% payment incentive based on 2017 provider data and how the practice used technology in 2017. If a provider does not participate, there is a 4% payment reduction.

These incentive payments increase or decrease to +/-9 by 2022.

We invite our visitors with familiarity or experience in the Medicare Quality Payment Program to share their experiences below by clicking on the "Click here to post comments" link below.
