Medical Billing – Facilities Served

What type of facilities can a medical biller bill for?

Response:
Just about any health care provider or anyone who submits claims to a health insurance provider on behalf of the patient. This would include but not necessarily be limited to:

  • Individual providers
  • Clinics
  • Physical, Occupational, & Speech Therapy providers or clinics
  • Hospitals
  • Nursing Homes
  • Ambulatory surgical centers
  • Durable Medical Equipment providers
  • Mental Health providers
  • Home health agencies

These are most of the likely facilities I could think of that would require the services of a medical biller.

Visitors: if you can think of any facilities I missed please comment below.

Thanks!
