Remember to customize and personalize them to your situation when you cut-and-paste. It’s a good idea to send an interview thank you letter within one to two days of the interview.
The intent is to thank the interviewer for their time and reinforce your interest in the job. During the interview remember to write down the contact info of those you interview with.

Email sample interview notes would be similar but without the address details. Email subject line should be something like:

Whatever you include in the subject line, try to include the terms “Thanks you for Interview” or “Interview Thank You” or “Interview Follow-up”
As far as whether to send an email or more traditional interview follow-up note it really depends on the employer. For more traditional companies and professions, a letter may be more appropriate. For technology related jobs, an email may be more acceptable. Just go with your gut on this. I’m sure most potential employers really appreciate either form of an interview thank you note and the effort made to send.
