On their website Availity states they provide free claims submission program, including free clearinghouse. I’d appreciate any comment from those who have used the Availity service. Thanks.

Availity’s Quick Answers page explains that the service is subsidized by participating health plans for certain kinds of transactions. This is for what are called basic services. You can add services at additional cost.
Availity doesn’t charge set-up fees, monthly fees, or per-claim fees for their basic services. It looks like you can register for free to get more information on the value-added services they offer.
