Is there a Book that shows how to create a crosswalk for CPT to ICD-9-CM

I am doing some research PhD. Can you tell me what book(s) or file I can buy that will show me how to create a link between CPT codes and their associated ICD9 codes?

Answer:
Don't know if this is along the lines of what your looking for but the publications we use that have this is the Ingenix Coding Companion. They are available by specialty at www.shopingenix.com or on Amazon for about $200 each.

I've also used an online service called Coding Today (www.codingtoday.com). They have a nice feature for showing the associated ICD 9 codes for a CPT or vice-versa. It costs about $500 a year for a subscription, but they give you a free 30 day trial if you want to check it out.

Ingenix also has something similar called EncoderPro.com - but I'm not that familiar with it but think it's priced similar to CodingToday.

Hope this helps.

Thanks,

Gina
